I can maybe be just me, but I don't think this needs to become a sticky. |

and, yes there is a texture site sticky, but most sites on that dont even work.... and i thought it would be a good idea to have a good convienient source for texture without having to download packs or anything, and they would all be L4Y members originals that no one else has used (except L4Y members i mean) |

I can't see them. Perhaps we should provide thumbnails instead of directly linking (works better for both ensuring it loads properly, and that it doesn't "break" the forum (especially true as of late, what with the continually dying server). Further, if it won't load properly, the thumbnail's link will allow us to directly open it).
Wouldn't a better place to host this be a website? A forum (as shown easily right here in this thread) can easily go out of control into hundreds of pages of nonsense (meaning searching for a texture can lead to a half-hours' long search as you wait for (what may be essentially) bs to load). |

ill try to put together a little texture, and screenshot site (it will be in MS word, as i don't want to spend a long time writing the whole thing in html for just textures and screenshots  )
everyone just post your textures and screenshots here, and ill try to put together something... (and yes, thumb them for our nice little 56k users 
EDIT: I've thumbed all images in this thread so that there will be no problems loading them, so from now on can people always thumb their images in this thread? thanks
I apologize for the double post..again, but I wanted this to go to the top of hot topics so people would actually see that there's something new here
I have the website started, it has a front page. Working on the home now. dot.tk seems not to be functioning properly at the moment, but for the time being you can get to it at www.freewebs.com\texturesandscreen when i get the homepage up and running. I'll make a page for each person (who made a textures and gave it to me) his/her own page with just his/her own textures on that page
EDIT: and just so you know, the title thingy is my first ever attempt at flash, so I know it's not great. |

its clearly a photo taken of a medal on a ribbon....
anyway, here, i made an icon and a banner for the site, the icon i gave to NCF to post under Affiliates the banner, ill keep for other sites, ill put in my REDTECH signature, and at the top of the links page on my site (its not there yet...)

its not "goobers textures" its "L4Y's Textures" u bafoon, stop taking credit for others work
o and, very few ppl actually make there own textures, they either get them off the net or have an unkown grphix specialist make them for them. so stop being a stingy fool, and post the images, its not like ur paying for the bandwith ur site is taking up. |
