no u go to level properties and at the bottom there is a box saying directional light. tick it and it will make the ambient light directional. and i think frank is talking about "enable shadow casting" or "runtime shadows" they both do the same thing. have any of u's tried ticking "is dynamic" under light properties. it looks awesome like UT2004 but when u play there is no lighting at all a lot of lighting magic can be dome under texture properties too, like light map resolutions and smothing groups
EDIT: there is a version 1.2 RED? how come my red is 1.0 and i have been making maps on that. if i update it can i load my maps that im doing now?
oh I get it now, I only got an updated RF.exe not the full update. there for no updated red. dont see y i need a updated red coz i use most of the light properties any way and red does not crash unless i try to make it crash
