Too laggy for me. Must be b/c the server is in Cali and i am in Florida.
Ranswer3 I think you entered when RFSA 4 crashed on me. I was changing some stuff and the RFSA 4 crashed. Well not all of it. Only the part that allowed me to chat and change maps. The RFSA lite was still open and so was the black server screen, which allowed me to do the same function. I also noticed that my Anti-virus software was running in the background. I had disable it from starting up when I boot the PC. It's still active but when it boots up, it will check for updates every 4 hours whether I want it or not. I think you joined when all this was happening. I need to disable it from the start up menu again but it seems that every-time I do an update the hoser (Sophos) puts itself on the start up menu.
I use to be on cable but then Comcast did there upgrades, more than half of my friends started to get a real bad connection to my server. It was weird, some of them got a way better ping on my server and they lived on the east coast, while the ones that lived on the west coast were getting 200+ pings.
I switched to DSL for them. I use to get a better ping (under 100) and Mr. Amero's server now with DSL I get 150+ while he gets under 100 on mind. Explain that, because I can't.
Yeah, I just checked, it was enabled in the start-up folder. It's funny. I had 2 check marks for the same file. One disabling it and the other stating it was enabled.
I'll have to stop by again sometime and frag some people . I have a low tolerence for lag even the slightest gets on my nerves. If it takes like 5 seconds to pick up a gun after running over it i blow a gasket.
