CENSORED was that? Can we get this in English?
[Translation:]
I have McAfee, and I don't like it either. My father has it on here, and he refuses to take it off because he paid a good deal of money for it <roughly 90 usd if he got the McAfee suite, or 40 usd for just the AV part of it>. McAfee did block RF, so I allowed RF access. RF said the same thing, but somehow the servers came up <confused here, did you load the favorites in and forget you did it?>. I plan to get rid of McAfee, as it seems to automatically block RF, as I didn't do it.
Well, you're suggestions worked, and I can play RF now. Yay!

Well, McAfee is the BEST I have used. Better than Norton, AVG, Avast!, etc. I am running McAfee Virus Scan 2006. Works like a dream....
McAfee doesn't slow your machine down like Norton does. So I wouldn't just to sudden conclusions of just blaming anti-virus software..... Unless it's norton, in which case everyone already knows it slows down your pc significantly.
Getting to your issue, if you are using WinXP Home/Pro follow these steps:
Click on Start/Control Panel/Security Center, once your in the main security center window, you should see a "table" at the top that says, Firewall and either a red, yellow, or green light to the right side of the "table". What color is this light?
______________________________________________________________________
And if you don't have WinXP Service Pack 2, don't worry about the above. McAfee shouldn't block anything like you described, because I am running McAfee with RF just fine. And if you are using McAfee firewall, just open the firewall port settings and open the port 7755, and whichever port you want to use to host dedicated servers.
Oh, and McAfee is spelled M-c-A-f-e-e.
P.S.
Most large companies prefer McAfee over Norton for many reasons So don't just diss something YOU don't like. For eg, I hate Norton, but it IS a good program that WILL get rid of viruses. It is a good program, but McAfee has better performance... |

I don't even have a virusscan ... and guess what? I never had ANY virus on my PC till this day.
When I see a .EXE I can mostly reconize a virus anyway, most viruscreators are just dumb people. The virus itself is mostly dumb ... and any beginner can make it.
Believe me ... If I put a virus on your PC it goes right pass your virusscan and you probably won't get rid of it without reinstall of windows ghehehe.
Why would I waste the RAM/CPU/Money/Time when I discover suspicious files in an instance? |

Why the CENSORED would you install 2 virusscans ... That's just stupid. 2 Virusscans just bother eachother and decrease performance significant, it also takes up double the RAM and CPU. That's like installing 2 different MSN messengers and trying to log in both messengers on the same acount. |
