Sypher, do NOT open a new thread just to thank someone of something. PM them, reply in the forum, track them down and thank them in person. I don't care, just don't do this! This entire day I've spent at least more than an hour reading your little spam posts, and the subsequent posts by members telling you to CENSORED .
Sure, people might like you because you make me want to drive a stake through my spleen, but really its pretty bad when you annoy me (I tolerate almost everyone, and often look past what that person does to annoy others, and often find good reasons to like that person. Hopefully (although not likely), you'll prove me right that there's something to like about everyone, and that I shouldn't wish death upon them because they did stuff like you're doing). I beseech you, read the posts, and then when you finally reply, reply in that post!
Also, spend more than 30 seconds before you determine that L4Y doesn't have advanced features like editing posts, using forumcode, linking to sites (you have a real problem with not linking. Thanks to you, half my address bar is filled with Censored-Censored links to your personal sites. Even worse, half those sites had no relavent information about the topic at hand), and even (gasp) has forum rules that you should must obey.
Fortunately for my own personal sanity, I'm done here on L4Y (planned to download a few maps, but the Irrlicht Engine will be good enough for today. Some information on it can be found here (note how I used links to show what I'm referring to, without requiring the user to copy and paste the link into their browser. I even used advanced url techniques to hide the url (which is rather lengthy) to ease the burdon on the reader (doesn't have to look at the url)).
I certainly hope that you don't try flaming me or whatnot, as it wouldn't bother me anyway. If this wasn't your first day, you'd definately be on report for this (Garner can and will ban members for this sort of noob spamming thing). |

No you didn't. Where in this thread did you say this? If you posted it in the other thread named "error loading level", why didn't you just delete this thread (or at least edit your initial post to "sorry for bothering you, but I write this because the forum is messing up and it deleted or moved my reply to the other thread named like this one") before anyone replied? Then, after they replied, you could have just linked to the thread and pointed out that you said it (instead of assuming that I would have read it).
I need a nice hefty dose of an analgesic injected right into my brain right now. |

I don't know why but it irks me when people don't have (or are incapable of) the decency to spell like a normal human being. It doesn't take that much longer to spell out "you" and "are", or even any variant of "to". Any time I see this I tend to question the person's age and/or intelligence, as older people usually do not type like that. I don't know, maybe it stems from the inability to type efficiently, so the person has to watch and peck at the keyboard with one finger at a time. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, I'm just saying, maybe these people just want to finish pecking as quickly as possible, and sacrifice spelling and grammar to do so.
