You all might have noticed a hiccough today in the game trackers. I had to change a configuration on the machine that they are running on. There were 68 games when I stopped and it's back up to 68 now, so it looks like everything is back to normal.
I just wanted to pre-emptively post this notice so that people wouldn't think that it's going down again. |

WOW !!!! I forgot to thank you for getting the tracker back to normal .... so now I'm saying Thank you
... Red Faction is still one of my favorite games ever made..it was my first game I ever bought for computer ...it has not been a long time since I first got my very own computer ( about 6 years ago ) going back a couple years when I got my first computer ever...and now I make levels for the game !!...
btw : is there any way to promote Red Faction so that it won't die ? ...like say the company you work for, would they pay someone or just get someone for free to promote it somehow ? ... I was thinking maybe your company would hire someone to sell the game to people ..someone like me ?

If it only goes down for a couple of minutes it's one thing but when it was down for over a month, that was horrible. I may play other games but for a deathmatch game, I always come back to Red Faction , the most balanced game on the market today(IMO). Except for the baton, that puppy has way too much power, power I can't seem to master but others use it very well on my butt.  |

THQ/Volition could probably make a ton of money if they did actually come out with a good Red Faction 3.
Good meaning having a multiplayer function, and perhaps compatibility with Red Faction 1 mods and/or maps.
I know I'd buy it. I've been playing Red Faction 1 since it came out back in... 2000? Sad to say I was thoroughly disappointed with Red Faction 2, which I played on Playstation 2. |

Thx for the update man.
Getting back into RF.
Anyone ever noticed that when your kinda half a sleep you always play amazingly?? I think its cos you play with your instincts rather than actually thinking about what your doing...
Heres some screens I took of my 2nd and 3rd game of RF in months.

Highest ive gotten is 164, that was ctf which doesnt really count IMO, highest ive had in DM was 100 which is close to the highest you can get in DM which is 130
oh i forgot about TDM where you can get 199 |

I remember a fun little TDM in the Installation map where it was 2 versus 2, except my teammate was gone, and the server was set to force respawn, and it was the host and someone else with 12 ping.
I won 100 to 99, with a 200 ping disadvantage and a free frag handicap
