Yea its buggin the heck outta me....
Im on the part where you destroy the geothermal plant and then you go to the submarine bay and take out the submarine... One problem...
I kill the guard, blow a hole through the control room door, and hit the button and the sub is about to come down, then the whole thing looks like a orangish ball. it then turns into a broken submarine, and then disappears... I need the sub to finish this part but it keeps destroying itself... How can i fix this?
I have the 1.20 patch installed with no mods installed (im puttin microfaction in now, thats about it)..
Any help would be appreciated... |

okay first off, microfaction would be a map, not a mod.
and, are any guards shooting it or anything? |

I know the part of single player your talking about but i don't know the problem of the sub exploding. And I believe I played the single player with the 1.20 patch, So I don't think that is the problem.
Sorry I can't really help you out. but i can tell you i don't think its the patch. |

Maybe the explosion damaged the sub?Anyway there is another place where you can get the sub in that part of the game.Its in the crevice underwater.Use that.Oh and avoid the torpedoes |

CENSORED !? that is the most funniest bug I've ever heard of in the single player RF  and its even funnier because you can't do anything about it L.M.A.O.!!!!!(HaHa) or you could try to reinstall rf or something.  |

Dont you mean like REDSUCKS?
this has happened to be before... the only solution i have to offer is jump in the water and start swimming. you can make it without the sub its just a bit hard because you dont have a metal buffer from keeping torpedos nd sonar attacks from hitting your carcass. |

an easier way to avoid the other subs from killing you would to put in the cheat code "vivalahelvig" for invulnerability. |

I don't think your supposed to hit the button in the control room thats why. If its the bit im thinking of, you climb up the metal supports on to the top of the sub and climb in it that way (im sure thats it) or there is an emergency release up there.
either way, thats how I got the sub. |
