PS3 is probably the most powerfull... not necessarily the best though.
Why didn't you include the PC? People with lots of cash can make the their PC's way better than any console. |

I agree very much, cosole are slow and chuncky with bad frame rates.
and how the hell do u play whith a controler, that is like imposible!  |

I really cant vote on this thread ... i mean how can you compare a DS to an Xbox360, they are completely different formats.
And a reverlution ... havent even heard of that (yes i know its meant to be revolution  )
I enjoy consoles (some of them) as much as i enjoy my PC. PC kicks arse for FPS and RTS while console wins with sport sims and racing. (this is a generalisation from my own and friends POV)

well.... a console will never compare to a PC. and thats a definite. but, consoles can be good for a bit of fun. FFSs (First Person Shooters) i cannot play at all with a console. how can a cramped up controler compare to a full desktop PC? |

I voted PS3.
And I don't agree with the fact that PC's are better than Consoles.
I have played alot of games on the PS one and PS2. And i had alot of fun, with up to four friends at the same time, playing on consoles. never had that on PC's |

It's funny that you mention that. I was just talking about that this morning( while waiting in line at CompUSA for 3 hours ). I use to be good at console games and now you hand me a controller and I am all thumbs. I'm looking for the W,S,A and D keys to more around.
Now my nephew kicks the blank out of me in his PS2. With all that said and done here is a quote I found:

In a way i do prefer consoles. As with consoles, you dont have to look at the back of the case to see if it will run on your pc.
But saying that PCs do kick CENSORED when you have upgraded it. |

Luckily Im not "the average punter" as I just recently bought a new motherboard, processor and Graphics Card... for playing F.E.A.R. and Battlefield 2  |

(an upgrade is on its way)
My machine plays all games at a good speed,My ADSL 512/128 net holds a steady ping, I much rather the PC overall |

Of course a pc is better. Don't just count in all how beautiful the consoles are. Take for example, FPS(First Person Shooter) games, you will NEVER be able to be as accurate as a mouse with those controllers.....
Also, my perspective is that the companies should create a linking master server(s) for each game. Such as for example, Counter Strike on XBOX should play with Counter Strike on pc users over the net through 2 different master servers linked together to overrun the regular protocol. I think that this would be VERY good for everyone out there without a computer. And I also think a keyboard pad plugin in memory card slot or something should be something incorporated with my idea, this way you can type to your friends while using XBOX controller or so. Or maybe an XBOX Keyboard with a detachable or just out of the way controller like button setup.
Thus bringing the gaming industry closer to gamers all around the world. And the different mods you see for games should be downloadable at ease for users of such consoles such as PS2, XBOX, etc.
But beyond that, consoles just don't/can't compare with pcs. It is a plain and simple fact. If you take a look at the newest high end console(XBOX 360) and compare it to the latest high end pc parts available or the latest high end AlienWare pcs.... Consoles just don't stand a chance in the gaming world compared to pcs. However, it is known that consoles are just small pcs and can have Linux installed, etc. But it just wouldn't be as good as having a pc... |
