Tell me your opinions on this browser.
My opinion is that the browser sucks. I mean, it has a few nice features, like switching rendering engines to either Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, and of course the ability to set where you want your tabs to be.... But other than that they basically ripped off Firefox and a theme that someone made for Firefox.... Also, the stupid thing takes to long to start up & load pages. |

Yes, however, Netscape IMO, ripped off Firefox's features which Netscape hadn't had before.

Internet Explorer is only the best browser if you want your computer filled with porn/adware/spyware/viruses..... And..... Don't think the porn is a good thing... Damn popup porn adverts are annoying! lol |

Netscape??? didn't know that still exists
I have allways been use IE and i'm very happy with it. I never really have any problem with annoying pop-ups/adware/spyware/virusses or anything like that. It just works fine for me. No problems with it what so ever. |

Netscape 8 IS Firefox just with a kiddie theme. Only positive POV is the ability to switch rendering engine from FF to IE... esentially making NN8 a Firefox/IE hybrid.
If you're thinking of getting NN8, stop and grab Firefox instead. Better still, stop and go grab Opera... FF's tab handling annoys the living hell outta me, Opera is better from that POV  |

I also had very few problems with IE (except in Explorer when you click next the the folder in the left window it still selects the folder ... Dirty IE6  ) but i decided to go FF because my school had gone FF and a few of my friends had gone FF so i decided to and its just a better browser IMO. and now i can have IE5 installed so no more annoying explorer side effects  |

I used to hate netscape 8 to 10 years ago because it used to be the worst browser of all time. Internet Explorer was a better browser at that time. But now days IE is the worst browser of all time and the only browsers you would catch me using is Opera and Firefox. But just the other day following your post I downloaded netscape 8. I must say that I like it much more than IE but I still don't like it as much as Opera which is my most favorite. The way they integrated functions of IE and firefox into one in Netscape 8 was pretty cool. However, just as firefox has problems with some javascript so does Netscape 8 
Untill they get some of the javascript problems fixed with firefox and netscape 8, Opera will allways provale! The last word is that I would use Netscape 8 anyday before I ever use IE. I only use IE as a backup browser incase the other 3 browsers do not function! |

i cant stand opera, or netscape. i can live with Firefox. it has some nice features, but i still find IEs interface much easyer to use. |
