Yes. Check your user_maps/multi/ folder for a 0kb sized VPP. Delete this/these and it'll all work fine. |

maybe you have too many vpps in your multi folder. You might try to remove some or put several maps in the same VPP. |

That, and sometimes, when using WinXP Pro, RF seems to crash like that if you have too many maps in your multi folder as well.... While one WinXP Home, I have 1.6GB of maps with no issues..... lol
Oh and Foe, nice to see you on L4Y again |

Or if you have RFU4 remove the music file for River Requiem as this file causes problems |

I Have noticed that when I made a bad vbm or tga or it some how gets corrupted it causes my RF to crash. I came across that problem and fix while working on my latest E HUD. This reason is one of a few that could be the problem. It may even be more then 1 problem. |

Quoting Filip Alex | Every time I go to the multiplayer menu and press create game button, my game crashes. Is there any way to stop this? |
It is more than likely due to the 0kb file that Exostatic described. They are generally created when you get the "Error Creating Packfile" message in RED editor that comes about when you try to create a packfile when you have missing textures in your level. Next time you get this error in RED, fix the situation in the editor and then go to your Multi folder where it is almost certain a 0kb file will exist. |

or you could just get the texture and then create level packfile again. it will overwrite the 0KB one |

You little Hoser, you are assuming he knows how to open a .vpp file to extract the .rfl to later be open in RED. This would be the only way to find out what files (or maybe files, since you might not have any of the files at all) are needed.
So i like this answer better.
