From the looks of it you completley desimated the entire toolbar network. imo kids shouldnt use expensive software. that aside, the only easier suggestion i have it to delete the "3dsmax.ini" and let it generate a new one. or, reinstall the program. I suggest working on tutorials included with 3ds max and keep from perssing all the buttons on the keyboard simaltaneously to prevent program errors. You should be able to re-enable the toolbars from there. Then you should LOCK THE UI. That's in the same menu, it SHOULD stop stuff like that happening again. Press ctrl+x and see what happens. But usually the bar on the top shouldn't be there in xpert mode. edit. or you may search for a cfg file and delte it (3dsmax.cfg perhaps) search for an ini or cfg file.. If I ever get to where I am going, will I know when I am there?     ergeben   Posted 8th Nov 2005 4:28am L4Y Member Post 51 / 154 I usually use max 5 and 6 but it should be the same thing. go to customize and i think you click custom ui and defaults switcher and then set it to the normal layout or click customize and then click revert to startup layout.
