I dont think its a matter of now, but in 3 or 4 years the really hardcore players will be left... what will everyone else be doing then?

Probably because this site is not dedicated to Red Faction.

If people weren't expected to claim they don't like Red Faction, why has that option been proposed?

Move on to a life of crime and try to wash away my pain with beer and drugs. Then take out my anger on my friends and family and become a social disaster. At this point my friends and family will force me to go into rehab although ill deny i have a drinking / drug problem until i give in because a foster home will take my kids away because i spend all my money on booze trying to forget how painful having the master server down is, instead of feeding my family. After years of rehab i will return as a new person who will be able to understand and cope with the RF master server peridocially going down and just have to live with it and drinking is not a solution.

errrr, sorry... I thought this was a great oppourtunity to create a temporary parallel universe and tell a great story. lol
