ive dealt with it too much bugs up the yin yang especially those annoying lighting glitches. I could'nt find it anywhere i looked even on Bearshare and still could'nt find it. Its a simple 2 MB exe so i figure someone who thinks they have a fairly bug free version i gladly accept a new RED
I don't have any file glitches with RED but a new exe that you can email me should help

im confused.. RED comes with Red Faction. and the only other upgrade to REd would be 1.2 and the small changes that we have somewhere here on L4Y... |

hey dim its called don't be an CENSORED and BTW i looked there is no RED.exe if you don't have or know what it is then don't reply.
also RED does come with my RF like everyone else's but i need another copy of the RED.exe file
read before posting there are only so many glitches you can fix you see.
There is no "RED" as a program anywhere so i thought i'd ask a someone for a copy not an upgrade.
please tell me someone isn't that dumb |

So you been a acting like an real A$$ there. The link NoClanFrank suggested there is probabbly better. And if there is someone who knows alot about RedFaction and all the custom files that come with it than its NoClanFrank.
As he allready said if you want help around here, it sure helps if your a bit nicer! |

K enough people have given the pirated version its wrong name to warrant me replying.
A pirated version is the game which has the same amount as the original, if not more. ie a direct image with extra to bypass some security.
A ripped version however has things taken out to minimize space, bypass security etc. and this would be the option if RED wouldnt work from a clean install from an undamaged disc ... not a pirated version

I am currently uploading my copy ... not sure if its any less buggy or not but it is my RED.exe from Version 1.2

Although he lacks the RED.exe file, there's still the fact that RED ties in with a lot of external files. So, if you're missing RED, you might be missing those files. It might be best if you backed up your custom maps/mods and then reinstalled RF.
As far as the burning question for RF, I suppose that would be why the copies I made for friends never worked. Nice to see THQ thought of security back in the "day", although now I have a lot of my friends angry. Realizing it is illegal, I won't ask for help on making a full version of RF from an already burned copy (very doubtful they'll sue me, and if so, I'll just pay the out-of-pocket. Really, though RF isn't generating hardly any money in sales because you can't buy it in a store! If they'd release a new version of RF (no, not a RF3, something like RF 1.4) as a special anniversary edition (add more maps, improve RED, let you switch between programs while running RF, etc), then sure, I'd buy that one and my conscious would technically be clear. Otherwise, I still have the defense that eBay isn't the place where I buy my things, so unless its in Walmart or the Dollar General, I won't buy it because I rarely go elsewhere (why should I? The local Walmart is one of those "super-Walmart"s, which is actually bigger than the local mall and it hosts an electronics section that almost rivals Circuit City's).
<2 weeks later: the Law offices of Stockholm and Klein inform me that I am being sued by THQ. I can either pay a 20,000 usd settlement, or go to court. I opt to go to court, tell what I said here and cite articles saying how much pirating is done in the Orient. So, THQ calls Bushco up and nukes the Canada out of the South Pacific. Strangely enough, Pred, his family, and all his friends happen to be on vacation in Canada with Duke and the other L4Y folks (as well as their families and friends) down that way, and survive (yay!). After Hazmat gets their stuff and decontaminates it, they realize that the suddenly don't like where they lived (although it is a nice place down that way) so they move next door to <insert person who hates x person the most, perhaps Garner or Mono>(they'd have to anyway, but they do so under their own free will, with the nuclear holocaust to supplement their decision ). Somehow, in the radiation, Pred's computer is fixed and starts running like a brand new, 3.8 GHz 64-bit computer (yet somehow RF is compatable with it) with 10 GB of RAM and a spiffy combined total of 1 TB of disk space, all topped off with a state-of-the-art video card that can be sequenced in series, allowing for a total of 2 GB of video memory. Such strange radioactive effects, but who's complaining? Finally, <insert your name>dies from a sudden blast of nuclear radiation (from the nuclear winter), although somehow your family and neighbors all survive, and think they just had food poisoning)>. |

It just makes some people sick to read things like that.
I can't understand the way some people say the game is soo great, but they still haven't bought the game - the legal way.
This totally makes no sense to me. 
I can proudly say, I have supported volition and THQ with my ~40Dollars. And not only that one.
This game is worth every little cent, no, 100x 40 Dollars
