Just want to tell both garner and everyone else im going to leave staff for quake 4.
I wont be getting this game so....
being a forum mod was cool.... but im not interested in quake... so im gonna have to say bye. |

Well, Genxer.. I will be getting Quake 4! Just take me off of the UT2k4 section and put me on quake 4 instead.. UT2k4 section is dying, nothing to do over here. Jon and Scot are nvr around anymore it seems. |

Why did you wait til like 2 days after the game was released before you left? That sound very strange... But then again you are a bit strange

I don't think its a problem if your staffmember of a certain section, and don't actually play or have the game. I know of at least one staff member that doesn't have the game he is staffmember for on his computer. 
I don't really care that person still does his job as staffmember occasionally. |

yeah i know its a bit weird. But ive seen the reviews of the game and had a chance to see what its like and im not interested.
its like doom 3 with different guns.
Also i just dont have the time anymore |

The big problem with Quake 4 is that they got all the focus on graphics, multiplayer and sounds, but the singleplayer campain is too generic, and the action scenes in sp are not lame but they are just "shoot everything you see".
it pased to be of one of the more awaited games , to be just an average (but still damn cool for mp) to lame. |

Blame id and Raven for the sucky sp mode of the game.
id software=Repetitive gameplay,good graphics,waste of money
Valve software=Fun gameplay,good graphics,worth the price.

sounds good to me , i dont play SP for games, its all about the multi and online gaming
I got loads of games and never played the SP atol |
