Brr, sorry for the late respond ... my computer was broken (I thought I had it stable). It's all fixed now
I was working on the MasterTracker but came to the realisation that i was missing a few bytes in the MasterTracker package and didn't happen to find old .cap files from EtherDetect with the mastertracker respond on a serverlist request, so that function is delayed somewhat untill I have the server respond in HEX.
The other functions though are near finished, currently what my mastertracker does is making a web list of all up to date servers that are online. If you set your mastertracker in the RF setup to my IP it shows your server on the list as long as it's up, the IPs are not outdated and are most likely valid.
Currently the link is 80.57.179.172, it's far from always up because I'm not running a server.
The webtracker can be found at http://80.57.179.172:801/ and should be showing a live list of all IPs that are using the tracker.
Give it a shot I'd say ... currently there are no servers ... but if you point the mastertracker in RF to my IP and start a server up it should.
If anyone has etherdetect files of the mastertracker respond on a serverlist request in HEX I'd love to see it. I'm missing only a small number of bytes. |

DOH Hi all. This brings us nothing at all. THQ aint
intrested to bring them server up.
My question is this !!!!
Who kno , what or where we could get the master server
software ????
We have a level3 backbone line and server on it so we
could host it. I already sended THQ a mail 14 days ago
and asked to take over their hosting problem , temp or
for the time RF com is alive. Ques what NO RESPOND.
So if anyone has an idea where to get it or someone who
could write it pleae respond asap.
BTW.. level 3 is a world connected trippel crossed backbone.

well i have some programing experience, and if we could assemble a good enough team then i think we could get a tracker together?
all we need is a host (Garner?  ) |

We can host !! I think our level3 can do that easy.
If we only had the software  It would be easy to
make the whole rf com sure to change just the adress to the
tracker. |

I do not have any idea bout this but here is a website

I hope u can do anything to make a server tracker ! Our server
is stabil, fast, on a fast line always up so no problem for that.

I still have the Red Faction Tracker in my possession, but it should only be used if the tracker goes offline. I do believe that Garner had mentioned that he would be willing to run it from this site. Whether that happens or not will be totally up to him. For now, I think we need to wait and just use the favorites that are posted. If anybody has any more IPs that can be added to either of the 2 files then maybe you can send them to me and I can add them to said files.
