I feel like making a comeback to RF...

Now, I want to start producing some maps.. but I suck too much.

Anybody willing to give me some rigourous training in the art of RF map making?

I might start to model again, too :/

No, just a tutorial to make good levels... like basically just hints and tips from someone good..

Oh... and yes I suppose Street Wars is back in progress.. soon.. when I sort out some personal problems.

yea please

this is a little technique i learned from Ninja
Exploding on triggers:

put a trigger linked to a switch on a wall. put in a delay, keyframe it, make a second keyframe, link the trigger to the gold keyframe NOT THE DELAY! put in a explode event give it a radius of 5 and a damage of 50, make sure the "Do Geomod" box is checked. remember the UID number on the explode event, put that in the "trigger event with UID" box in the silver keyframes properties and dont forget to put a geo region around the explode event, if your level hardness is set to 100.

Thats not new goober Everyone knows about it now I think

I guess Rooaar been the first map which used this technique
Or was it WoC2? Can't remember which one I released first.

Me and my friend were wondering why textures scroll in default multiplayer maps made by Voltion but doesn't in custom maps.
I decided to find a trick to get around this, the only way was geo mod so...

edit. but well, you wrote down the technique for multiplayer how to manually make this event happen.

Exo as I told you you can allways ask me for help on MSN.
There isn't really a tutorial on how to make good levels, and not everybody has a same opinion on what is a good level.

just put some nice detail into your maps, and be sure to test them turoughly.

Remember the Mutant pic with fire coming out of its hands?I used the same technique as the one i pm,ed you The entities will not hold the weapons but the body parts of wich they use to attack will have the ammo of the weapon will come out of certain body parts,like the mutant will have rail slugs coming out of its hands or a sea creature will have HMG bullets coming out of its fore head.I made a Cutter robot have a rail_gun coming out of its body.

This is what I have mentioned in a post about a month ago.
New ideas or techniques never get shared with the others, until a exclusive file has been made of it.
Just like a patent if you will.

Not want to sound aggrieved, I'd never want to use this technique because I've got modding skills for this

And I think, I do it the same way Who doesn't want to get the fame? lol
