Hi im hoping someone can help with my server problem.
Im useing "RF ServerAssist 4"
I create a dedc server and when i join the game i couldnt see my server, so i added a server ( 127.0.0.1 ) Then it appared but only i could see it.
I mapped that port on my router, both UPD and TCP but nothing seems to work, any help?

If you are the only one that can see the server, then that means that you either didn't open the correct port or you have a software firewall that is bocking the default port of 7755.

Go to portforward.com for more information on how to disable it.

Have you tried reading this page:

CENSORED[/yellow] SmithElec/XH1169-REL10v2/default.htm]Port Forwarding for the CENSORED Smith Electronics DSE XH1169

Also remember that the default port than you need to forward on your server PC for Red Faction is 7755 unless you changed it on your game.

Do you have WindowsXP™ and is your Firewall on. That could also be the reason why it is being prevented from sending a signal to the master server and thus why others can't see your server.

Q.
How do I enable or disable the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall?

A.
1. Click Start
2. Control Panel
3. Double–click Network Connections
4, Right-click the desired connection
5. Properties
6. Advanced tab
7. Under Internet Connection Firewall
8. Uncheck or check the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet check box.
