Drrrr... I got this problem of being uninformed about my laptops capabilities I have a dell I9300 with a 1.6ghz proccesor and 512 of ram and 128 mb radeon x300 video card. Now here's the big question if the game requires 1.7ghz proccesor will it work on a 1.6ghz ?

Processor speeds will never stop you from playing something.

If a game states it needs a 1.7Ghz it means that it'll run on a 1.6Ghz but you might notice longer loading screens or lower framerates than usual. The difference between 1.6Ghz and 1.7Ghz is nothing to worry about though... you'll probably notice nothing different.

Now if a game states it needs a 3Ghz processor you could run it on a 1.6Ghz CPU... but then you'd definitely have longer loading times, slower frame rates and just generally a far worse gaming experience. It will still run though...

There is one thing you should keep in mind though, make sure it's not a 1.6GHz Celeron or Duron cpu, because they can really hurt your gameplay. I believe the minimum requirement is a 1.7GHz cpu so if you have a 1.6GHz cpu, the game will run, but don't expect anything fancy graphicswise.
