With the latest Steam update, I am having troubles with Counter-Strike Source. Most servers ping up as 2000 in View Info box, but in Server List they are 50-200. Also, when I do get into a server, objects such as cars, boxes, etc. do NOT appear unless I get real close. As well as I can see through windows.... It's like the texture for the window isn't even there, this happens on de_dust2.
Any suggestions?! It only started when I updated Steam.... Last night it was playing perfect! |

check too see if ur steam is downloading anything else, cause i had this prob once and it was because steam itself was working on something....
Looked across at newgrounds and yeah some peeps having the same problem (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic.php?id=350605),Ur not alone dude, maybe its just what some people are getting from the update

It did that for me yesterday on ALL Steam run games, however, today it is back to normal.... Except for the fact that I still can't see objects that are far away........ Such as barrels, they are invisible to me unless I get about 10ft-1ft close... It is weird, if this is what is needed for DoD:S, then I don't know if I really want it... |
