As some of you may or may not know ive been a jobless bum for ages now... since i left my last job ive been sitting around smoking green and playing xbox live all day 
i turned 20 last friday and i thought it was about time i got sorted.
So ive now got a job in *drum roll* morrisons.
yep doh a supermarket.... it sucks. but its going to be £8.00 an hour for what im doing (night crew)
Everyone on the night crew is a nutter so this should be funny.
A mate of "ours" (mine and vanessas) does up flats and rents them... and they have offered us a cheap brand new done up flat so im going to look at it tonight.
Looks like hitting 20 has made me grow up in some strange way !!!
Nah CENSORED it, it hasnt.

just dont end up like I did Skip, I had a job at a supermarket once. One and a half months later I was "let go" because the "quality of my work wasnt good enough". In actuallity that means they gave me the can so they could hire a full-timer who works the same hours as me but makes more money. How do I know this? A family member was the one who was hired on the same day to the same job to replace me.  |

In actuality, your story makes no sense. If they fired you for doing a poor job, then thats why they fired you. Not so they could hire someone and pay them more. It could have been Joe Blow off the street, it wouldn't have mattered.
Employers want people who work and do a good job. Alot of this is perception. You may think your doing a good job, but in actuality, your not.

You've never worked at Adam's Fairacre Farms then...since being hired I was never written up, always on time and always got my work done before my hours were up, and if I wasnt done by the time I should've clocked out, then I stayed for a while n finished.
It was also fun to go back there talk to the manager (not the guy who fired me) and ask him to find out why I was fired and if he had any record of anyone up to be fired that day. They had no record of my name at all on the list of people being relieved of their duties and since that day I talked to the manager, I havent seen the guy who fired me working there again. "poor work quality" was just a lame CENSORED excuse to drop a kid who needed a summer job in favor of someone who would work full-time.
(note: I'm being totally honest here this isnt foolish pride)
PS sorry for getting off-topic that subject just kinda angers me. |

heh i used to work as a supervisor in a supermarket so this is gonna be easy.
and its not little pay man i know people that work there and they get just over a 1000 a month after taxes and everything... |
