I'm having a problem in the computer room mover. Once I have flooded the room with water, all is ok, but as soon as I hit the valve on the floor of the pipe to drain the room of water, the room drains but I also start going straight through the floor of my room instead of staying inside while the water drains. How to I overcome this problem to make the player stay inside the room while the room is moving to create the rising water effect ?

ummm im guessing mabny put the valve on something, not just on the floor.

How did you do it?Sinking water and rising water.To REDTECH and any other site that has helpful but not detailed tutorials

well id say its not easy, ive never acually attempted it, the reason i say its hard is because you cant put a push region, particle emmiter, climb region or alot of other sstuff on keyframes, if i were you id have it so when u go into one room, both doors close on you and yuou get lowered into the lava and die

perhaps he just made it so the room ith water in it moves up into the soon-to-be flooded room

Please will someone Get rid of that green fat Barney hippo animation and put parker or eos up there or something than that fat purple blob.

Ok, In the room I created a spinning mover and a wobbling shaky mover. If you hit the wall switch the machine blows up and stops spinning and smoke starts pouting out, then the pipe next to it starts to wobble and shake uncontrollably and on the display screen if you go to it, you're told that dangerous water pressure levels are building up.

This is NOT for the beginner and yes if you go around touching the red pipe then the room starts to move, I made the room sink down in the water inside a giant air brush to create that effect. But I added a twist, this was a mover map with two more movers inside of it with tons of events in it because as the water floods in as the room sinks, all the computers go off one by one and then the lights start to pop and blow next.

Eos then pops up and says that the pipe has burst and tells staff to now quickly make for the doors and evacuate for water pressure is backing up into the core and will flood the room, except I set the movers up the wrong way round and should've made everything first a mover and then made the other movers inside of the mover last so it would all sink down together. But once the room was submerged underwater, to get the room back up I had to add a second door trigger on the pipe valve in the second keyframe preview (when the room was underwater) and attach that to the gold key (not the silver key) and add a reverse mover event to it.

Problem: Can't put the staff in the room, as they sink right down to the bottom of the air bursh under the water as if there is no solid ground for them to stand on now that the room is a mover, So I might have to make an invisible texture brush just a fraction above the floor of the room for them to stand on.

I think make the bottom floor like a lift and make the water right below a air brush.Then as you go to the pipe it will activate a trigger that will acivate the keyframe/keyframes that will lower the floor into the water and since the water is below there it will make an illusion as if the room is flooded form the top.I fixed NCF,s [yellow] message. I still dont no how to make doors Oh i forgot to tell thisOnly miner type entities have a swim animation other entities dont except the Sea creature and fish for obvious reasons

Have you ever tried to make an underwater lift? In the same way this isn't going to work out right for you, neither will that
