Has anyone seen this? I think it'd be great to read it, instead of playing it. Get Eric Nylund (Writer of the HALO novels) to write it. Actually, come to think of it, I'm a writer (Books comes out in Feb 2006, called "The Last Saint" Check it out! No, this wasn't a promo for my book.) maybe I could write it... if it's already written, anyone know where I could pick this up?

well, max payne is really a interactive movie/book. Soooo, there would really be no need for a book. Just play the game! More fun that way. Also, Max payne had already done so much, there would really be nothing else to do with Max (I wonder how the Max Payne 3 storyline is gonna be, all the characters are dead!)
EDIT: But maybe, a good idea would be to base the book off of a character in Max Payne. Such as Vinnie (His rise from a gangster to a mob boss) or Vlad (From a mafia boss, to him using Max as a pawn. His motives, Mona would play a part. Then you got the whole thing with Winterson And finally his climatic showdown with Max to end the story....That would be an awsome book actually) |

i think a movie would be cool, but a novel would be good tooo. I dunno if u'd wanna just create the stpry based on games or like have things leading up to the events of 1 and 2 and then after that..wait...i haven't played the game in a while. i forget if Max dies or not. |

...Max dosn't die at the end of MP2, Mona does. In fact not even she dies if you complete it on Dead on Arrival. |

Yea lots of people who didnt play Max Payne 2 thought Max Payne died because of the title, "The Fall of Max Payne". |

I completed the game again yesterday and no, Max Payne dosen't die.

All of the characters are not dead. Plus if they were there's always room for a prequel |

Exactly, there are more options open then you think.
For example, we can take MP1 and MP2 together, but for another character, let someone else play the leading role. For example, mona has done half as much as max did in both the stories, quite enough for one game I say.
Also, there is no need of Mona returning, the story could go in a whole diffrent way then any of you could think. Max could get corrupt, or his enviroment gets corrupt and he does something about it. Maybe he'll get some mindly handicap of his adventure in MP2 and could get visions of the past of what happened, the 'good' time before the attack on his house in MP2.
I could go on, the point is: the MP team surely hasn't ran out of options. But I'm worried about that, sortof. I heard rumors of a new team set for making MP3, or a new sponsor or something. Anyone can help me get rid of my questions? |
