This is how I turned on the particle emitter:

I inserted my Particle emitter, my Particle_state event, a switch event, and an event trigger. Then I linked up the trigger to the particle_state event. Then I linked the switch to both the particle state event and to the particle emitter. Then lastly, linked the particle_state event to the particle emitter.

Now that I've turned it on.
Can someone tell me how to turn it off?

I'm trying to do flames that turn on only when a weapon hits the box and causes a geomod explosion, but now I can't turn the flames off.

You need to place a delay. the delay may be linked to the trigger and to the switch button. Activating the trigger will activate bothe the switch event and the delay event (the particle emmiters are switched on) then after the delay went by (set it to a few seconds) the switch event is turned off.

otherwise, you might want to try adding a cyclic timer before the switch button (link to the switch button). The cyclic timer event will activate the switch button on, then off, then on, then off. But i don't think it's what you want.

Shoot the Barrel - Before They Shoot You

Edit: The geo on the ground is probably a little big. The emitter at the top of the buring barrel is on ... explosion ... the emitter is turned off and then the emitter on the ground is turned on [burning rubble]. There's even a set entity on fire event.
If I ever get to where I am going, will I know when I am there?    Modified Sep 3rd, 02:34am by Trigger
