 i have recenlt downloaded the halo skins from l4y and i dont kno how to get them on to my multiplayer person. if anyone on l4y knows how to get them on to my multiplayer person i would be grateful 4 your comment. plllllllllzzzzzzzzzzz i need help. thx    |

First, you need to unzip the file. Then files must be dispatched to the proper folders (textures, system, karmadata...) in your UT2004 folder (c://UnrealTournament2004).
File Extensions and where they go
In MP, they won't be seen by players that haven't downloaded the pack. |

NO!. i mean that ...
in MP, they won't be seen by players that haven't downloaded and installed the pack and are actually playing the game online |

If your talking about the actual .utx .usx .u .upl files, you don't need a program to put them anywhere. Its just a simple drag and drop into the correct /UT2004/ directory. .utx to the textures folder, .usx to the static meshes folder, .u and .upl files to the system folder, etc. As told by Molodiets earlier in this thread. |

thx 4 the help but when i have put all of the files in the coresponding folder, are the skins just in ut2004 or do i have to upload them or something?? |

What you do is go to the settings in UT2004... its right there with join game and host game etc... so...
Settings...
Player...
Then there is under the character something that will say .. "change character model" or something similar to that...
for voicepacks ... there is a tab on the right hand of the screen that drops down and you will see all the voicepacks that you have installed. |

I think he is saying that online it won't work. if that is the case then the only way for others to see it is if they have the skin also. |

Ok, from what I understand is...
1.) u have in fact put all of the files in the right folders,
2.) Gone to settings, player, and changed the charater model,
and now the character doesn not apper in the selection menu, or in game? If it does not appear in the menu, it usually appears in game, mine does that as well. Now I confused, it doesn't appear in MP, or in SP or IA? |

Ok first, make sure you have all file types in the correct folders.
Goto This topic to make sure.
Then try it.
If they still dont work, reinstall the skins pack.
If they still dont, try intalling or reinstalling patches. Sometime they mess things up.
If they still dont work. Download HaloUT P1.75, P1.751, and P1.7511 |
