Post 1 / 6 Hey lads, I currently play full and am in a clan called +HV- as some of you mite know the clan name. Anyways previous to playing the full I use to play the demo except I didnt find it challenging with the lack of people playing it. Another issue on demo is the ammount of modders on it and I was wonder if anyone could help me put a patch together to maybe save the demo from these advantages? I know theres currently a patch for full titled ' nocheats' however this only works when the person has the patch installed but, we all know theres so many servers for anyone to download the patch and install it, people will just join another server where the patch isint used. The demo is very much different in the number of server and your lucky to even see 2 servers up. SO basicly to save the demo from modders I have got the main guys that run the server together and maybe unite to use the patch. Now i have tried the patch on the demo with hope that it would work. The way rf demo operates its not possible to load things outside of the redfaction. I tried adding the files to the ui.vpp and i tried replacing the tables.vpp with the nocheaps.vpp because i relised thats how the guy created this patch in the first place. I was wondering if you had any ideas, maybe someone with some experience?
