Project Description
Hell Unchained
Hell Unchained is a total conversion for Max Payne 2. It started as a horror TC in winter 2003 and slowly evolved into a cross of Hellboy, Bloodrayne, Resident Evil and movies like The Mummy or Indiana Jones taking the best of each of all named and mixing it all together into a great action masterpiece.
The story takes us to a small town in south of Czech. A young American woman - Veronica Fawcett comes here with her boyfriend to find her father Richard Fawcett who left Veronica alone with her mother when she was five. But sadly, Veronica's mother was killed by an unkown thief and his complice few days after. Now is Veronica 22, and she could easily forget her past if a letter from her father wouldn't came. Richard writes that he's in Czech. He's an archeologist and he and his team made a great discovery. But something strange is happening. People are dissapearing, it's dark all the day and heavy rain doesn't allow them to continue. She asks Veronica to come to the town of Tichy Kopec to help him...
Final version of Hell Unchained will feature:

*Completely new storyline with cut-scenes and graphic novell
*9 large detailed levels including arena boss-fights
*8 completely new weapons such as CZ75, SA61 Skorpion, MP40, Luger, torch and more
*New enemies to fight with - undead, skeletons, Nazi zombies, demons and hard to defeat bosses
*New arch-villain to hate
*New sounds, music and HUD

When I think about it, it sounds to me really unbelievable. It is exactly ONE YEAR today since Fearmewell has sent me the first model of our favourite heroine - Veronica Fawcett. So - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VERONICA! 
On these two pictures you can see how big progress has Veronica made.

Hi there, I'm back with an update!
Hell Unchained is close to a non-public test release, but there are several problems delaying it.
First: We need a weapon skinner. There's a lot of good modellers, but sadly almost none of them skins his own weapons...
What weapons do we need at the moment? We need a Luger (I have the texture already, but I have trouble skinning it) and a flamethrower.
Second thing: We are missing a lot of animations. Our animator Yukl hasn't sent me any animations yet and I'm afraid he's too busy with his own bussines.
So these are two things delaying the release of Hell Unchained beta and the full version as well. If there is somebody who could help us, please contact me. This is really crucial stage of development and the whole project depends on its success. For those, who can make their job very well is the door leading to Hell Unchained beta always opened!

Hi everybody. My name's Janys and I'm proud to present a work of many talented people - a total conversion for MP2 - Hell Unchained. You can read more about HU in its section so I will cut to the chase. What's the current progress:
A beta-test will be tomorrow, but only non-public team-only betatest. Our team-members will be able to test two levels which will appear in the full version. Currently only these two levels are done. Many ones are nearly done and two are yet-to-be-done. We have some weapons, almost all enemies, but no animations though
