Project Description
A weapon-centred mod designed to bring diversity and colour into Red Faction's armoury. Inspired by the kind of variation in the Unreal series and such games, It has so far been barrels of fun, grins of satisfaction and faces froze with awe since the very first test.

Nearly every single weapon's style and purpose has been heavily overhauled to finally give players a weapon for every occasion.

Taking lessons from UT's Flak cannon, Halo's Needler and a few more, I've done my absolute best to make a mod that focuses on fun, and so far that aim has been fully met with the force of frighteningly effective flamethrowers, instant-throwing grenades and quite a bit more.

It's hard to make such a mod sound good in text. You really need to see for yourself when I release it rather soon.

The HMG's primary shotgun-like fire mode as it impacts the wall in a speckle of blue glares:

Secondary fire is a continuous, fairly accurate firing mode just to broaden the weapon's purpose and preserve the relevance of the name 'MG'.
Pain Sounds Posted 12:02am 21st Nov 2004 by UrkiE UK
I've offered my voice (reluctantly) to the mic especially for this mod, to provide some pain sounds for the weedy and whiney scientist, hendrix, admin, tech and engineer models, with a twist of english.

Some of you might not 'get' the sounds as such, but I might aswell chuck them in for the hell of it. Besides, I found the previous sounds a bit too melodramatic.

That map I mentioned that will attempt to contain the surreal and scenic traits of CTF-Citadel from UT is in a state now where some of it's features can be distinguished (hopefully). Here's two snapshots of the top of the central tower, the towering spikes surrounding the arena and the electric thingymajig at the top that looms over all.

Maps to be made and included in the mod are as follows;

CTF-Seige

An assault style map with a flick of genius. Red attackers must open a sequence of linear gates in quick succession to enable a capture whilst Blue defend critical chokepoints.

DM-Voltage

Inspired by the surreal electric worlds featured in the late Unreal Tournament, fight for control of the central tower within which a storm of bolts can be unleashed, raking those on the ground and dealing instant death.
